Glacken Park, 51 Terrace Avenue, Freeport, New York

Glacken Park is located in northwest Freeport. The park is 2.86 acres and provides a Little League Regulation-size baseball diamond, lights, and a large scoreboard ready to host championship play. In addition, basketball courts, handball wall, large picnic area with pavilion, multiple use field, playground area, and restrooms. The park is easily accessible by means of bicycle, car or residents that reside in northwest Freeport can walk to the park.

Bishop Frank O. White Park (Northeast Park), 100 Parsons Avenue, Freeport, New York

Northeast Park is located in northeast Freeport. The park is 1.298 acres and consists of a ninety-foot lighted baseball diamond, along with basketball courts equipped with lights, three recently resurfaced tennis courts, multiple use field, playground area, large picnic area, and restrooms. The park is easily accessible by means of bicycle, car or residents that reside in northeast Freeport can walk to the park. The Long Island Rail Road and the MTA bus service is only a couple blocks away

Randall Park, 500 Guy Lombardo Avenue, Freeport, New York

Randall Park is located in South Freeport, at the north end of Woodcleft Avenue (the Nautical Mile). The park is 8.2 acres and consists of an adult outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent kiddie pool, as well as a sports field large enough to accommodate several teams at the same time. The field is equipped with overhead lights to facilitate night games, enabling local softball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, football, and other teams to extend their playing seasons, from early spring through the fall. The park also has a large picnic area with 2 pavilions and restrooms. There is no entry fee for the pools. The park is easily accessible by means of bicycle, car or residents that reside in south Freeport, can walk to the park. The park is also served by bus service.

Water Front Park, 957 South Long Beach Avenue, Freeport

Water Front Park is located in south Freeport overlooking Little Swift Creek and Baldwin Bay. It is 2.693 acres and consists of a playground area, large picnic area with 2 pavilions, walking paths along the waterfront, fishing area, gazebo at the water's edge and restrooms. An astronomy program is operated on Tuesday evenings during the months of July and August. There is no fee for the program. The park is easily accessible by means of bicycle, car or residents that reside in south Freeport, can walk to the park.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, 49 Stevens Street, Freeport, New York

Martin Luther King, Jr. Park is located in north Freeport. The park is 1.661 acres and consists of 2 outdoor swimming pools (adult and kiddie), basketball courts, handball wall, picnic area with pavilion, multiple use fields, playground area, and restrooms. There is no entry fee for the pools. The park is easily accessible by means of bicycle, car or residents that reside in north Freeport, can walk to the park.

Sea Breeze Park, 11 Richmond St, Freeport, NY 11520

A five-acre park known as Sea Breeze Park is located at the foot of The Nautical Mile and offers breathtaking views of Freeport Bay. A pedestrian walkway/bikeway boardwalk with decorative lights and benches runs along the water’s edge. The public park also has boat slips for hire, a public building with rest facilities, volleyball courts, and a giant multi-use field.  This park also has a dock were people can park their boats.  During the Summer months, an outdoor volleyball league uses the courts. A 100” bi-level ship that provides sunset dinner cruises launches from the Park. The Village of Freeport provides movies at the park on Friday nights in July and August. Movie Night includes free movie, popcorn, giveaways and a fun-filled family night. Sea Breeze Park is also a designated stopover in the South Shore Blueway Kayak Trail.

Cow Meadow Park, 701 S Main St, Freeport, NY 11520

Recently acquired from Nassau County this Village of Freeport 171 acre park and preserve, combines nature and sports.  More specifically, this park contains a baseball field, multiple playgrounds, Multiple sets of swings, many tennis courts, two full basketball courts, and a couple of handball courts.  Located in Freeport on the South Shore of Long Island, Cow Meadow has been a recreation destination since 1970.
