Village Clerk

The Village Clerk's Office is the records management office for the Village of Freeport, responsible for the filing and retention of various documents, including Board of Trustees minutes; Zoning Board minutes; Planning Board minutes, as well as various other Boards and Commissions within the Village. Site Plan Review is also conducted through the Clerk's Office.

The Village Clerk's Office issues numerous permits and licenses, including Roll Off Container Permits, Block Party Permits,Parade and Public Assemblies Permits.

The Registrar's Office maintains copies of Birth Certificates and Death Certificates. The office is also responsible for the issuance of various permits and licenses, including Electrician's Licenses, Plumber's Licenses, Dog Licenses, Reataurant and Public Assembly Licenses, Garage Sale Permits.
