The Freeport Electric Department will be conducting a scheduled Power Outage in Freeport on Friday, April 26, 2024. The Planned Outage will begin at 8:30PM and will conclude by 4AM Saturday, April 27, 2024.
The scheduled outage will effect 23 customers, all of whom have been notified twice by the Freeport Electric Department.
The location of the electrical vault that is being worked on is at the corner of N. Main Street and Broadway.
The Freeport Electric Department will build a new sub-roof to avoid a potential forced outage and equipment damage to those transformers to eliminate any and all emergency repairs.
