The Village of Freeport Public Relations Department is committed to:

• Serving the Freeport community in a professional and courteous manner
• Highlighting Freeport's events, personnel and illustrating the many positive aspects of the Freeport community
• Promoting the Village of Freeport as a diverse, unified community that welcomes all local, national and international visitors as a worthy destination hub
• Cultivating fruitful working relationships with all stakeholders and media outlets
• Publicize and promote Village news, events and activities in the print, TV Station 18-44, and social media outlets including the Village of Freeport Facebook page and Village website
• Consults and supports the Freeport Village Board, Mayor, and Freeport Village Departments regarding Village matters, imagery and dealings with the general public
